   Omni Ventures Inc. has successfully created innovative partnerships with domestic manufacturers and food processing firms offering opportunities for adding value to locally produced agricultural products.

The three preceding goals were established as a result of strategic visioning and planning sessions held in January, 2000, facilitated by the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs at Western Illinois University in partnership with the Illinois Department of Agriculture, the Illinois Council on Food and Agricultural Research and Southern Illinois University.
